Lockmate anatomy
Lockmates have 3 basic forms. In order, these are the true form and the 50% form.

True Forms:
-Bipedal 3 finger claws, 1 thumb claw -Arms almost / can drag the ground - "X" shaped bellybutton (optional) -Back paws -"Proper" eyes |
50% Forms:
-Feral -Hooves instead of claws -Significantly skinnier -"Hollow" eyes. |
Additional information
50% Lockmates are their own personal feral variant, often only used in dire situations (i.e. to escape predators) The 50% forms are often also used for self-healing as these forms require minimal effort to keep, allowing their bodies to safely heal and regenerate if necessary. It is not recommended they stay in these forms forever as, while therapeutic, can eventually cause bodily strain.
Some Lockmates have human forms. Is this canon?
Yes! While this form takes the most energy and cannot be held for long periods of time, Lockmates can assume a "humanoid" appearance to better allow them to fit into society and search for their keys among the human race.
